How I check and date information
- Each article shows an "Updated" date. It changes only when the facts are reviewed.
- Where sources differ, I show both.
Facts I could not confirm in official sources
- the Golden Visa term for property owners: the ICP guide of September 2026 and the DLD give 10 years, while some u.ae summaries still show 5 years;
- the rule that only the basic salary counts for the AED 30,000 professional route comes from BRIDGES;
- the timeline of one to two months from purchase to Emirates ID and the rate of about $545,000 for AED 2 million come from BRIDGES;
- the 30-year residence rule for ordinary naturalisation comes from summaries of Federal Law No. 17 of 1972; I could not open the official legislation portal during this check;
- the visa-free count: 189 of 199 in the BRIDGES Passport Index of 4 October 2026; other indexes give other numbers.
How often the guides are updated
All articles are reviewed at least once a quarter and after any change to UAE visa rules.
